Resigned Jamaican Senior National Football team head Coach Theodore “Tappa” Whitmore will withdraw his recently submitted resignation and continue as Head Coach of the Reggae Boy according to a statement issued today by the Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport Honourable Olivia Grange.
The following statement was issued today by Grange, Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, the Jamaica Football Federation and National Coach Theodore Whitmore.
At the meeting held at the offices of the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment Sport today, the following were agreed:
- 1. Mr. Whitmore would withdraw his recently submitted resignation and continue as Head Coach of the Reggae Boyz.
2. The Jamaica Football Federation will offer Mr. Whitmore a new contract,
3. All issues between Mr. Whitmore and the JFF are now considered settled.
Just last week Whitmore tendered his resignation over salary issues.
