Jamaican sprinter Saqukine Cameron opened her 2018/2019 season with a 60 metres personal best at the Indiana vs. Tennessee Duals inside the Harry Gladstein Fieldhouse earlier today.

The former Edwin Allen High School star finished third in 7.55 seconds behind University of Tennessee teammates Maia McCoy (7.37) and Alexis Duncan (7.48).

Cameron was competing for the first time for the Volunteers after transferring from Iowa Western Community College.

The mark is a slight improvement on her previous best of 7.57 done in 2017.

The redshirt junior, who also competed for South Plains Community College in 2016, was tasting her first action in a while after missing the entire 2018 season due to injury.
