Jeanine Williams named ACC Women’s Track Performer of the Month

Jamaican sprint hurdler Jeanine Williams, as she was named the ACC (Atlanta Coast Conference) Women’s Track Performer of the Month, the league announced today.

The Georgia Tech University senior earned the honour on the back of her nation-leading 8.25 seconds run to win the 60 metres hurdles finals at the BSC Icebreaker held on Nov. 30. 

The two-time All-American and reigning 60m hurdles ACC Champion also finished first in the prelims with a time of 8.40 to kick off her 2018/2019 season where she left off after earning Indoor and Outdoor All-America honors as a junior last season.

The ACC Performer of the Month recognizes student-athletes who took part in season-opening meets held the weekends of Nov. 30-Dec. 1 and/or Dec. 7-8.
