Jamaican sprinter Andre Ewers won bronze in the Men’s 100 metres at the NCAA Outdoor Championships at historic Hayward Field, Oregon, USA a short while ago.

The Florida State University junior clocked 10.19 (WIND: -0.9m/s) on a wet track behind the University of Houston pair of Cameron Burrell (10.13) and Elijah Hall (10.17).

Ewers compatriot Raheem Chambers, despite having his usual fast start out the blocks, faded into 5th in 10.33.

The other Caribbean men, Antigua & Barbuda’s Cejhae Greene finished 7th (10.37) and Barbadian Mario Burke 8th (10.41).
